After the original boards went down, and all the commontion and controversy surrounding the list died with it I went on a sabbatical to complie this list. I stepped out of my own views for unbiased and unopinionated facts. So without further ado, here are the top ten bands named Iron Maiden:

It's crazy how back then Iron Maiden was number 1, and after years of thought and research, we originally nailed the number 1 band named Iron Maiden all along.

How could you put Iron Maiden before Iron Maiden?

Hard to judge, but I think these guys should be near the bottom. Although I do find their performance amusing, their lack of technicality and musical discipline drops them down, if we're rating these Iron Maidens on sheer skill.

However, This Is Not Spinal Tap, and therefore, this list does not go to 11 (or beyond). We gotta impose some limitations, or fucking madness will ensue.
