What are you reading?
Currently I'm working on Realm of the Dead, A Forgotten Realms anthology, and Machine of Death, A collection of stories about a machine that vaguely predicts how you die. Machines of Death is highly dissapointing for the most part, based off an idea from a web comic. One or two decent stories however.

Re: What are you reading?
I just finished a university term, so I'll only be interested in reading chick lit for at least another couple of weeks. I'm reading a little gem called Dog Handling, about a girl whose fiance dumped her, so she goes to Australia and misguidedly applies the rules of training dogs to men. It's totally terrible. And awesome.

Nice. Do you stop before or after Chapterhouse?
I'm reading Clive Cussler's Dragon, because it's silly Americanized Bond-style hogwash that a former co-worker explained as being "Some of the most intense action ever" It's not, it's airport terminal reading at best, a high school writing class final assignment at worst.
Going to continue Wheel of Time after this, or hit up one of the China Mieville books I've missed in the last couple of years.

I finished Immortal Iron Fist. Volume 5 is easily my least favorite. My favorite is volume 3.

"A Game of Thrones"....I liked the HBO show so I bought a box set of the first 4 Song of Fire and Ice books. I'm really pleased with them so far, and I'm glad it wasn't another HBO-book disappointment (the True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse mess was truly discouraging, though I'm impressed they made such a good show out of such crap!)

Re: What are you reading?
Well, Joss Whedon wrote the Buffy movie as well but he didn't really get the control over it to have it fit what he had in mind. It sort of got away from him and the movie isn't really what he imagined when he wrote it. Which is actually good, because it's what inspired him to make the show in the first place. Even though the movie was out first I really feel (and so do a lot of other Buffy fans) that the show is the -real- Buffy.

When I was in the airport I bought The Value of Nothing. It's actually really good, and is making me think about my opinions of the value of goods, although I'm halfway through and I don't really find it all that groundbreaking with the thought processes, but that's just me.

I've never actually made it all the way to Chapterhouse. I got partway through God Emperor again, then got distracted by other things in life.
So, I put that aside and never got back to it. Probably gonna start from the beginning of that book again.
Now, I'm reading The Odyssey. Nearing the end.
I don't think I'mma gonna read those non-Frank Herbert prequel/sequel/whatevers. Never read any of them, but I'm getting negative vibes for whatever reason.

I am going to start reading Portable Atheist soon.

I'm still near the end of the Odyssey. I think I'm reading this more and more slowly, at an exponential rate. If this keeps up, the last sentence will take an infinite amount of time to read.
Re: What are you reading?
After The Portable Atheist, I will read Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I will have to delay reading God is Not Great.

The foundation books are neat-o. Recently retrieved the original Foundation Trilogy from my parents' for eventual rereading, then I've got some sequel by Greg Bear lying around after that.

Just read Neal Asher's Gridlinked, as it's one of my girlfriend's favourite books.

A Song of Ice and Fire books in between The God Delusion. I also just received both Dirk Gently books for Christmas.
